It has just arrived, as promised. This is my outfit from yesterday’s Condé Nast Brides event at Temperley London store…full on!

So, your thoughts now about this full on Temperley look. Like it, hate it?

Yesterday evening I attended with Marina The Exclusive Condé Nast Brides Reader Event, in association with jewellery brand Monica Vinader, Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts and The Turquoise Holiday Company, at the Temperley London new flagship store in Mayfair.

Hmm, I guess I have to answer to your questions now…

NO I am not getting married and NO I am not looking for a wedding dress mum! And you, boyfriend, may calm down now as I am not implying the need neither of a huge diamond engagement ring, nor of a hotel booking in Vabbinfaru - yet -)

So, let me explain myself..Firstly, I was invited by Temperley and I love Temperley! The Pre-Fall 2013 collection “Constance” has just launched and I wouldn’t miss a London town-with-Marina Thursday evening, full of bubbles, rainbow macaroons, girls being hair, nails and makeup pampered by the experts and of course the chance to walk around palm trees, wearing a veil and some boa feathers.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA*I didn’t win. Maybe next time. Maybe when I’ll actually need a honeymoon trip ;)

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA As we didn’t manage to put on every single piece in the store, we had a last look at the catalogue, spotting the ones we missed out (only a few, Thank God!) and then, we kissed the palm trees goodbye…

P.S. It looks a bit incomplete, right?  The rest is on its way…

Next in my London Fashion Week series is…

- Da daaaaaah Peter Pilotto!!!

and my one month internship at their studio in East London, before their SS13 show.

No need for more words, I think; You may have your goosebumps!

It’s not that I assisted in creating all these amazing garments, not that I was running to Nicholas’ Kirkwood studio to bring in the sample Nicholas Kirkwood for Peter Pilotto handmade sandals, not that we stayed up the night before the show beading tiny mirrors in this marvelous black-blue dress, not even that ADR, aka Anna Dello Russo came backstage after the show to greet Peter and Christopher in person , or that we spent the rest of the day, exhausted, wasted (sorry mum) but full of fashion vibe, in the terrace of Shoreditch House, by the pool…but this collection is phernomenal and it was once in a lifetime experience..

Your experiences now..Have you ever worked in a fashion show?

ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageThis Maje maxi silk dress is one of my favorites, though not an easy everyday piece… With its creamy texture, tiny flowers print, total backless and a lot of flare under the waist makes a fabulous statement in an island summer wedding. Yet, I decided to change its personality, only for a while.Worn here with flat biker boots, a cotton tee and an oversized pom pom scarf looks a bit more grunge?!? What do you think?

P.S. Couch added to give more drama to the context..

Costume De Rigueur for Gone With A Floral Couch: Maje dress, Truly Madly Deeply tee (via Urban Outfitters), AnnaRitaN pom pom scarf (via Avant Garde Boutique), Zadig et Voltaire Joe Boots

ImageImageImageImageImageImageThese photos were taken a few Sundays ago, on a chilly afternoon we spent at my friend’s Niovi winery estate in the countryside. By now, the context would be completely different. More greenish, full of blooming trees, cats playing around, beautiful people talking, eating, laughing and then “siesting” in the sun, tasting the new wine.

Can’t wait to be with them again…

Costume De Rigueur for Sundays are for Niovi’s Winery Estate : BCBG Max Azria wool cardigan, All Saints leather jacket, A Peace Treaty Scarf, Maison Martin Margiela shades, Calzedonia opaque tights, DKNY lapin fur boots (oldschool)

During London Fashion Week, takes place The International Showcase For Fashion Innovation, a.k.a. The Fashion Scout, a platform renowned for championing creative design talent, as it has scouted and presented a whole generation of designers, including Peter Pilotto, Felder Felder, David Koma, Eudon Choi and so on and has also provided unrivaled platforms for carefully selected international designers and collective showcase from all over the world.

So, when I received a call from designer, Melissa Diamantidi , who was selected (!!) to showcase her SS13 collection at the Freemason’s Hall in Covent Garden, to assist in the preparations of the show, the answer was a straight yeeeeeees!

We set up the place and gift bags, greet and guide fashionistas to their seats, helped backstage dress up the models and then stood by the press (an inside privilege, I guess) and let this 10 minutes-fashion-nirvana take me away..

C’ mon, let’s get fashion-high together.

How do you feel now??

Are you riding today?

Definitely Céline was  the first (again), back in Spring 2011, to combine Daria’s silk, flare, print garments with skateboards.

But with Hedi Slimane’s taking up in Saint Laurent and his Cali-inspired collection for AW13, West Coast, the surf culture of the 1970′s and Venice Beach lifestyle are in the fashion spotlight this season. Editorials feature them, models playing around with them, designers collaborate with skateboard brands, art exhibitions showcase them…

As for me…I want to book an one-way ticket! Without return any time soon!

Just get in the line up and ride..

And tomorrow I am going to be the Lady Of Dogtown!

A Sunday afternoon in the park, Shoreditch park…only for a while though, as the sun didn’t make us the honor to stay for long..

However I decided to be lightly dressed…hhmm..ok only for the needs of this photo shooting…

FYI: I feel  very summery deep inside.

And tonight…at the movies…Mud

Any reviews on that??
