It’s the Year of the Horse…and of Riding Hats, New Balances and Oranges

Happy New Yeaaaaaaaaaar!

I’m obviously celebrating the Chinese New Year – duh- that was on the 31st of January, as New Year like you know the common New Year is sooo passé!

Same day every year, buy presents, find the perfect attire, help prepare the turkey, drink champagne, go out, drink more, pass out around 6 a.m, your friends are mad at you, because they wanna have breakfast at Hilton, your boyfriend is mad because he wanted to go snowboarding on New Year’s Day(!!!) and you’ve already violated 3 of your New Year’s Resolutions, aka sleep more, drink less, no pastries.

NO.NO MORE. I’m protesting against that dynastic New Year like you know, the common New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day.

And as everybody’s going through their post-holiday depression, dry January (WTF?!!?), not fitting into your own clothes, when is Easter??, period, I put on my riding hat and went out in the fields – Niovi’s estate – to welcome the Year of the Horse!

Welcome Chinese New Year! I’ve been waiting for you one whole month!

Where have you been??

Costume de Rigueur for It’s the Year of the Horse…and of riding hats, new balances and oranges: Versus Versace leather dress (also seen back then) and (similar), Zara turtleneck sweater, Star necklace from Juju de Kokimo boutique, Riding hat from Roccoco Fine Vintage store, Calzedonia opaque tights, New Balance sneakers

However, another, more festive celebration is coming up! Stay Tuned…
